The majority of viruses getting into computers in offices is through inadequately protected email accounts. Our email hosting server protects you by keeping infected messages from reaching your inbox by deleteing the infection before it gets downloaded.
No system is perfect so we strongly recommend that no personal accounts be viewed from corporate computers. No attachments ever get opened unless they are expected from the person sending. So if you aren't certain email them back and ask if they sent it. The latest patches for email and OS client are installed to prevent accidental execution of code that may get through, although in our case it has been 6 years since one of our clients received an infection via their corporate email.
