Using our Mail server with Outlook Express and Outlook up to 2000

 

Go to Tool/accounts on the menus to get this screen then click the mail tab across the top, now click on your mail account in the window and then properties.

 
 

The arrows indicate changes that need to be made to your account settings.

substitue your domain name for "mydomain.com"

and your email address for "myemail@mydomain.com"

Using our mail server with Outlook 2003/2007 (New Account Setup)

(The arrows indicate changes that need to be made to the account settings, as well as directions for where to go next)

Go to Tools/E-mail Accounts to get to this screen. Select the "Add a new e-mail..." radio button then click "Next".
 
 

Select "POP3" radio button, then click "Next".

 

Substitute your domain name for "mydomain.com"
and your email address for "myemail@mydomain.com"

Also note in the username field; the e-mail address is repeated for identification purposes.

Click the "More Settings" button to proceed.

 

 

Be sure to test the account settings (click the "Test Account Settings..." button) to ensure it is setup correctly; if you receive any error messages or a login window pop-up, double check the spelling of the domain names, server names and e-mail addresses for accuracy.

"Close" the testing window when complete and click "Next" if you received no errors.

 
 
On the next window click the "Finish" button - congratulations, you're now ready to receive your e-mails!

Using our mail servers with Outlook 2003/2007 (modify existing accounts)
(The arrows indicate changes that need to be made to the account settings, as well as directions for where to go next)
Go to Tools/E-mail Accounts to get to this screen, then select the "View/change existing e-mail accounts" radio button and click "Next"
 
 
Next, select the account you wish to modify, and click the "Change" button.
 
 

Substitute your domain name for "mydomain.com"
and your email address for "myemail@mydomain.com"

Also note that the "User Name" field contains the e-mail address as well.

When the fields are completely and correctly filled out, click the "More Settings" button to proceed.

 
 

 

Before you proceed, be sure to test the setup by clicking the "Test Account Settings..." button; if you recieve no errors, close the pop-up window and click "Next".

If you have recieved any errors, double check the spelling in all fields of the E-mail Accounts window.

In the next window, click the "Finish" button and you are ready to begin receiving your e-mails again.

Outlook 2010 New Account

To setup an email account on your iPad go to settings/ Mail, Contacts, Calendar and follow the screens below, inserting your information for email address and mail server names...

 

Click the other link as show below by the red arrows:

Choose add mail account as show below:

Enter

Your name

Your full email address

Your email password

And a description of the account it can be anything you want.

Click Next

 

Click POP below so it is in blue as we have it show here:

Then fill in the empty fields with your account information and passwords and incoming and outgoing mail server

It is usually mail.yourdomain.com where yourdomain is the domain your company uses for email.

When you have filled everything out click SAVE

 

 

You will get the following error message coming up click YES to proceed.

The account will seem to be complete setup but you need to go back in and change one setting, see the screens after the one below:

 

 

 

Go back into mail settings and then click where the red arrow indicates below:

 

 

Then click as indicated below on this screen:

Then change the setting to 3025 and click as indicated.

 

Mail should be fully setup.
