Resources to improve the results from your web site

First a bit of advice from what I have learned so far over the years.  Create a web site about something you know and have passion for.  Learn how to write copy and if you don't want to learn then be prepared to hire people that can do it.  When you find them send them my way as I am always looking for good copy writers.

If you are technically inclined you can't beat the people at Planet Ocean for good information on search engine optimization. I have just recently purchased their book and am working my way through it.  It truly is filled with great information on how to improve your position with the major search engines.

If you want a more complete package that has an enormous amount of information and a great tutorial style for creating profitable site the folks over at SiteSell have a terrific program.  We are currently working on our first site with them and I expect great things will come from it.
